Can i create an instance on AWS using heat template

is it possible to create an instance on AWS using the OpenStack heat template, also is it possible to burst in to AWS

No, Heat is an orchestration service for OpenStack.

However, Heat supports most of the CloudFormation syntax and resource types, so you may be able to write a template that works on both.

I think yes, it is possible. You have to write the resource plugin for AWS CLI.
