I'm deploying openstack icehouse version with three-node architecture (controller node, network node, and compute node1) on Debian wheezy.

When I try to create new instance, I got the following error in my /var/log/nova/nova-compute.log(computeNode1):

Are you using any hadoop node?

Hadoop03 node is the hostname of compute node1. Previously, I deployed the Hadoop environment and I did not modify the hostname.

Agree with you, Shankar. I am trying to check and locate the error information.

seems issue with n-cpu & nova-scheduler. Check there is availability zone (compute node) when launching vm.

Through dashboard, I can't find any existing nova-compute. Therefore, when I try to create an VM instance, nova-scheduler.log prompts that "No valid host". It's due to the heartbeat mechanism. I am trying to check time synchronization of each nova node.

Hi, I just wanted to ask whether your issue was indeed related to nova compute times being un-sync?
