In the sahara.conf.sample the following are the first few lines

# Hostname or IP address that will be used to listen on.
# (string value)
#host=

# Port that will be used to listen on. (integer value)
#port=8386

What exactly is the host? Is it the machine on which sahara will be running ?

In fact 'host' is called 'bind_host' in many other projects. For example, you have two network IP address on your machine: 10.0.0.5 and 192.168.4.1.

Then if you set 'host=10.0.0.5', Sahara process will be accessible only by that IP. I.e. if you do curl http://10.0.0.5:8386/v1.1/<tenant_id>/clusters you will get some response. But if you do curl http://192.168.4.1:8386/v1.1/<tenant_id>/clusters connection will be refused.

Most probably you want Sahara to be accessible on all configured IPs. To do that, just leave that field empty.
