Following instructions in OpenStack Installtion Guide for Ubuntu 12.04 3 Nodes -- controller/network/compute No errors, but cannot ping demo-router external IP from external network tcpdumps show arp on external interface of network node Eventually found error in /var/log/neutron/openvswitch-agent.log Exception in running neutron-rootwrap

root@osnet01:/var/log/neutron# neutron-rootwrap Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/neutron-rootwrap", line 6, in <module> from oslo.rootwrap.cmd import main ImportError: No module named rootwrap.cmd

apt shows python-oslo.rootwrap is already the newest version.

Hi, have you figured out the solution for the neutron-rootwrap issue you encountered? I have the same issue when trying to install openstack on Ubuntu per the installation guide from http://openstack.org . Thanks!
