Hi Everybody, I am setting up a private cloud on bare metal servers in a closed network. The OS on all the nodes is CentOS 6.5. I have created a local YUM repository for the base OS on a utility node that is connected to the Internet and to the closed network. I have successfully setup a cron job to do an rsync with a public mirror from my utility node, and my OpenStack nodes can update from the utility node, so far life is good.

However, I have not been able to find a repository that I can "rsync" to for OpenStack images. The only repository Ive found is but I cannot rsync to it. i dont want to have to download the packages manually, I would like to automate as much as possible. Is what I am trying to do possible from , or is there an alternate configuration/site/whatever someone could recommend. Thanks in advance!

There may not be a repository available with rsync access. However, you should be able to use reposync to automate the process. That link points to the Fedora documentation, but reposync is also avilable as part of the yum-utils package in CentOS.
