There is a problem with my rabbitmq Firstly, I get an error when executng this command:

neutron net-list
Connection to neutron failed: Maximum attempts reached

the log files show thath there is a problem in port 5672 in the serve.log:

ERROR neutron.openstack.common.rpc.common [-] AMQP server on mycontroller:5672 is unreachable: Socket closed. Trying again in 30 seconds.

in dhcp-agent.log

ERROR neutron.openstack.common.rpc.common [req-2fe2f9f4-92da-4edd-8067-02942f2df32d None] AMQP server on mycontroller:5672 is unreachable: Socket $

In the file: l3-agent.log

2014-06-05 15:52:18.625 3705 ERROR neutron.agent.l3_agent [-] An interface driver must be specified

I also checked the file rabbit@mycontroller.log

=ERROR REPORT==== 5-Jun-2014::17:00:05 === closing AMQP connection <0.5511.0> (10.0.0.31:39220 -> 10.0.0.11:5672): {handshake_error,starting,0, {amqp_error,access_refused, "AMQPLAIN login refused: user 'guest' - invalid credentials", 'connection.start_ok'}}

I under stand that it looks that my credentials are not correct, but I checked the neutron.conf file:

rabbit_host = mycontroller
rabbit_password = MY_PASSWORD

I dont know if this might effect, but recently, I changed my computer name from /etc/hostname to make it similar to 'mycontroller'. as far as I know, It only effects the prompt : user@mycontroller:~$

Try :
$service rabbitmq-server restart
$service neutron-server restart

Check the status of neutron server and other services. Also request you to restart neutron service and test.

It was solved, finally. The credentials problem accrued ,although they were correct, but the changing of the computer's name reset the password. so I changed the password back to my password sudo rabbitmqctl change_password guest MY_PASSWORD
