Keystone installed on Ubuntu 12.04 VM.

Trying to run:

keystone tenant-create \ --name t1\ --description "Default Tenant" \ --enabled true

Returns:

No handlers could be found for logger "keystoneclient.client" Unable to communicate with identity service: [errno 113] No route to host. (HTTP 400)

I'm new to this whole game. Please advise

No route to host.

That gives it away there. This is a networking issue. Check your identity service (your AUTH_URL in this case) address and track down the networking issue.

This is outside the scope of Openstack, but if you still have an issue with it, please edit your post with all of your networking information (ip addresses and routes) as well as the location of your identity service. We may be able to help you.
