Dear All,

I installed Openstack(devstack) on ubuntu 12.04LTS, before running ./stack.sh, i modified localrc to include all components including Neutron (Quantum). after running ./stack.sh and opening the Horizon Dashboard via web browser i am unable to see the "Networks" tab on the left task bar. What could be the reason?

Regards

The panel should appear if Neutron is installed. The way Horizon determines if a service is installed is by checking the keystone catalogue.

  • Does $ keystone catalog return a network entry?
  • Does $ neutron net-list work?

If Neutron works fine, you'll need to create the catalogue entry (you'll have to log out and back again afterwards to see the network panels). If Neutron doesn't work at all, it looks like you may have to double check your localrc file and devstack installation.
