I'm new to openstack...just wondering if OpenStack Networking is supported on CentOS? If so, where can I find the installation guide for Quantum on CentOS?

Yes, you can use a few different OpenStack distributions on top of CentOS, many of them supporting Quantum. A good starting point is RDO (openstack.redhat.com) as it is built for EL-clones.

Thanks for the info. I browsed RDO link and it seems to describe the instructions for installing openstack grizzly release. I was looking for how to install Quantum in openstack folsom release... any idea?

RDO doesn't include Folsom packages because they were already available in EPEL.

Yes it is possible to run Quantum (Folsom) on CentOS. We are running it with openvswitch support. I've written down some tips here:

You can get the Folsom packages from the EPEL repository. Depending on the functionality you want from Quantum (e.g. GRE tunnels) you need to change to the upstream module instead of the openvswitch from Centos 6.4.

I have found the best cookbook steps for installing quantum on RHEL/CentOS is the packstack documentation:
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/Red_Hat_OpenStack_Preview/ (https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/RedHatOpenStack_Preview/)

Version 2.1 says "(Folsom)". But it has been updated to reflect RDO which is based on Grizzly.

In particular look at:
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_OpenStack_Preview/2/html/Getting_Started_Guide/ch12s05.html (https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/RedHatOpenStackPreview/2/html/GettingStarted_Guide/ch12s05.html)

Remember to disable nova-network if you are using quantum.
