I have set up a controller node (in fact it is also a compute node). Now I wish to have another compute node where I would like to have virtualbox(oracle) as my hypervisor. I tried searching for the driver I need to use in nova for virtualbox but so far no clues...

Could anyone help me out here....

I don't know if virtualbox is supported, although I think it is based on libvirt...

Thank you antonio. In fact I had seen this information a while back but was still optimistic if there is a way virtualbox can play with openstack. Ok. if we forget virtual box.....I have an ova file and how to use qemu-kvm. Even for that I tried the following... 1. Extracted the ova file and I got 3 VMdKs along with an OVF file. 2. Tried launching the 3 disk images using KVM and was able to see things coming up.

But the question is how to replicate the ovf settings into qemu0kvm understandable format so that the VMs resemble exactly same as if they run on the virtualbox.
