I want to configure the network of three node architecture. However my systems have only ONE NIC each. I just want my Floating IPs and the APIs to be publicly accessible and rest all IPs as Private. What should I do in this case ?

With one NIC may work Multi Node Neutron OVS&GRE Configuration. However, if you have to have management and public Network separated . You still need on Neutron Server Node at least two Ethernet cards.
I have detailed document only for Two Node Havana Controller+Compute Neutron OVS&GRE Setup on F20. View:

"Setting up Two Physical-Node OpenStack RDO Havana + Neutron GRE + Gluster backend for Cinder" on Fedora 20 boxes with both Controller and Compute nodes each one having one Ethernet adapter

Actually it would work for any configuraion like :-
    Controller+Neutron Server - Node1
    Compute1 - Node2
    Compute2 - Node3
    . . . . . .
