To access undercloud horizon dashboard, follow these steps:

1. login to the seed vm.
2. source the stackrc file in the root directory
3. run nova list and you will see 1 vm which is the under cloud controller, remember the ip address in the list.
4. open the firefox and enter the ip address got from the step3 and you will open the undercloud horizon.

Hope that helps!

Vic

Hi - HP Helion Community Edition is a distribution you build and run-up in your own lab environment.

There is a great set of step by step instructions located at http://docs.hpcloud.com/helion/community/install-virtual/ (http://docs.hpcloud.com/helion/commun...) that outlines the process and where you can download the necessary distribution.

The biggest prerequisite is a physical system ideally running Ubuntu 13.10 or 14.04 (e.g., a lab system you have access/control of). I was able to take a home lab server (in my case a desktop with a fair bit of RAM) and install the complete setup (from Ubuntu host to the final web browser accessible Horizon Portal).

Once you've worked through the steps, you get to the section titled Connecting to Horizon console and carry on from there.

Cheers,

Daniel.

Hi Daniel,

The installation was okay and I can connect to the overcloud Horizon console. However, I would like to have a look at TrippleO. Therefore I've was wondering how to login into the undercloud Horizon.

Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,

Sorry I misunderstood your initial question - should have read your query more closely.

Does Vic's response above in combination with the password details located in the file: ~root/tripleo/tripleo-undercloud-passwords help?

Cheers,

Daniel.
