Why is socket in use for 35357, when there is no port open? Keystone-all. [closed]

After following install on 14.04, using icehouse repository, at page of may4,2014 icshouse manual:
I have rebooted multiple times, 
Any help would be appreciated. wm

solution: redo/reverify creds and in sync after

su -s /bin/sh -c "keystone-manage db_sync" keystone

service keystone restart

worked after that.
