I can launch the CentOS instance from trystack; however, I google and found no information regarding the default username to login. I only got the "ubuntu" for the default username of Ubuntu image.

Appreciate if someone know the default username for CentOS or Fedora?

Thanks!

To mount qcow2 images there is very useful qemu-nbd util.
It shares image through kernel network block device protocol
and this allows to mount it:

modprobe nbd max_part=63
qemu-nbd -c /dev/nbd0 image.qcow2
mkdir -p /mnt/image
mount /dev/nbd0p1 /mnt/image
cat /mnt/image/etc/cloud/cloud.cfg

All done default user wil be displayed

Just a suggestion

1. Launch instances with oskey.priv ( for instance) F20 && CentOS 6.5 and assign Floating IPs.
2 $ ssh -l root -i oskey.priv FLOATING-IP-ASSIGNED
Then you'll be given a secret advice regarding default user-name in your terminal session.

Thanks for the details. I will give it a tray although I already got the 'fedora' & 'cloud-user' from the message when login as root.

Thanks dbaxps! the secret advice is interesting and like below for F20.

" Please login as the user "fedora" rather than the user "root". "

Not sure the default username for CentOS yet, but a good guess will be 'centos'.

Bad guess. Would be cloud-user :)
