Hi, I'm trying to upgrade from Grizzly to IceHouse running "packstack --answerfile=myfile.txt". I get following error:

[...] MY-IP_keystone.pp:
[ ERROR ] Applying Puppet manifests

ERROR : Error appeared during Puppet run: MY-IP_keystone.pp Error: /Stage[main]/Nova::Keystone::Auth/Keystone_user[nova]: Could not evaluate: Execution of '/usr/bin/keystone --os-auth-url token-get' returned 1: The request you have made requires authentication. (HTTP 401)

You will find full trace in log /var/tmp/packstack/20140429-152631-QoY_jJ/manifests/MY-IP_keystone.pp.log Please check log file /var/tmp/packstack/20140429-152631-QoY_jJ/openstack-setup.log for more information

Could someone help me?

The proper command at mimimum would be /usr/bin/keystone --os-auth-url --os-token <service-token> token-get if you were going to bypass authentication. If you were trying to do proper authentication you would need tenant name, user name, and password with the auth url.

Since this looks like a puppet script is broken, you have two choices. Crack open the script and add in the --os-token option, or set up your enviroment variables with the proper values.

I recommend the second choice since it is the easiest, but I am not sure youll be able to do it with puppet. Modifying the script is the only sure way to pass the proper values.
