Invalid OpenStack Identity credentials

Ive checked the other posts about this and they seem to be occuring in a different part of the install.

Im simply trying to install keystone and user-create

I follow the steps here: (

Keep getting the above error, need some assistance please

Is there something Im missing?

As a workaround I commented out the admin_token = ####### field in keyston.conf and uncommented the admin_token=ADMIN field. I then passed this to OS_SERVICE_TOKEN and I was able to continue.

Not sure of the future reprocussions from this or the security implications, however we needed to move forward with this POC

I'm new for using openstack and following the instruction to install it in Centos 6.5. when i create admin user in keystone it's printing errors:

keystone user-create --name=admin --pass=admin Invalid OpenStack Identity credentials

what happend?

*note: i checked the service keystone and see it's running:

#service --status-all keystone (pid 2849) is running...

Please help.

i have done it now.

The problem is in the previous command instrument in the document:


it must be: $ export OS_SERVICE_TOKEN=$ADMIN_TOKEN

and then i successfully did my command:

keystone user-create --name=admin --pass=admin
