one NIC configuration in network node

I'm a begginer in Openstack. I'm installing Openstack Havana in 3 nodes(controller, compute, network), one NIC in each node, all nodes OS is ubuntu 12.04 server 64 bit. My problem, when I started configuring openVSwitch br-int integration bridge in network node I got stuck on NIC configuration, because the guide that I follow is assuming that network node has three NICs. What should I change if I want to use one NIC in network node.

Thanks

You could use IP aliasing in that case (eth0:0 , eth0:1 , eth0:2 ), although all traffic will pass through the same NIC.

If you are working in a proof-of-concept or test case it will be reasonable.

In Ubuntu edit /etc/network/interfaces

auto eth0:1

iface eth0:1 inet static

address x.x.x.x

netmask y.y.y.y
