Hi, I have created a openstack cloud. Now I would like to access the dashboard/openstack client to see the information from a remote host. Is there any way to do it?

Yes, you can use corresponding OpenStack Client to do that from remote client eg: to find the existing users in Admin tenant of the cloud 1. On remote box install the keystone client 2. create a keystone.rc file as the following shows 3. source the keystone.rc 4. list the users using keystone user-list

export OS_USERNAME=admin
export OS_PASSWORD=ADMIN_PASS
export OS_TENANT_NAME=admin
export OS_AUTH_URL=http://controller:35357/v2.0

Similar setps should apply to the other openstack client(nova, glance...)

Hope that helps!

This helps, but what I am trying to do is build a web link that would access the information from my controller and display it on the web page. The web page should be accessible from both linux and non-linux machines. Since I am a newbee to these technologies, can you guide me a little more?
