How to create a QCOW2 image for Oracle Linux 5.4?

Hi all , Am trying to create a QCOW image for oracle linux5.4 in virtual box and then upload it to the glance to spin up in VMs. However the same image when used in cloud am getting error ? Can anyone help me, but successfully did with oracle linux 6.2 ?

i am having oracle linux5.10 it's working fine on virt-manager, on openstack it's uploaded successfully.

but while launching its not booting properly .its searching for /dev/root which is lvm and its not working ...

please any one can help me in that?

Not for nothing and this is a long time too late. Just in case anyone is looking - you might want to build your core OS as ext{3,4} and not with LVMs. I ran into an issue around these as well with ELs.
