Hi,

We are unable to delete ports in the neutron and getting the below error. Please suggest the solution.

2014-03-26 10:25:54.238 27106 TRACE neutron.api.v2.resource device_owner=port_db['device_owner']) 2014-03-26 10:25:54.238 27106 TRACE neutron.api.v2.resource L3PortInUse: Port 2bf0e72a-d331-484f-b2ca-2a95b530e579 has owner network:floatingip and therefore cannot be deleted directly via the port API. 2014-03-26 10:25:54.238 27106 TRACE neutron.api.v2.resource

Floating IP's can be accessed through the Dashboard under: Access and Security > Floating IPs. You'll need to release all of the Floating IP addresses that are assigned to the router. That would mean you'll need to do it for each tenant.

Or through the CLI:

neutron floatingip-list

neutron floatingip-delete {floatingip}
