Unable to reach to the public IP [closed]

I was tryin gto configure my Havana setup on Ubuntu 12.04. After i rebooted my controller, i was not able to reach the pubkic dashboard. I am even not able to ping to the default gw. I am using neutron.

Your public ip (10.236.50.2) should be assigned to the br-public interface. But even in this configuration it should be able to ping 10.236.50.1

This appears to be more of a generic networking issue at this point. Can you expand on how your current networking setup?

After i changed the br-public IP with the eth0.50 interface and removed ip from eth0.50, i am able to reach the dashboard. I realized that openvswitch service didn't started at the controller node. I don't know the reason. I also don't know yet why br-public is not set.
