I was thinking to add some additinal field for user "Settings" in OpenStack Dashboard.Also i want to upload some helpful document in the UI under "Help" field. So please tell how we can do in our local system.
Locate the /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings.py config file. Under HORIZON_CONFIG, there is a line
'help_url': "http://docs.openstack.org",
You can change this link with another one you created on the same server or another.
If you want add some feautures to openstack-dashboard, Insatll openstack on your local machine. Go to the following
/opt/stack/horizon/openstack_dashboard/dashboards/project/
and there you can add your own panels like Manage Networks and you can add forms views etc. you can configure url's for your views and can do lot more.
