How to calculate disk_available_least value of compute?

Hi,

Just like to know how to calculate the value for disk_available_least variable of nova-compute.

For additional clarity

disk_available_least = free_disk_gb - disk_overcommit_size disk_over_commit = (for each server and disk directly on the hypervisor (f.e. /var/lib/nova/instances/*/disk) the difference of allocated space in the file, and the max size of the file (see qemu-image info /var/lib/nova/*disk).

This is this is how much space is left after taking free space, and subtracting un-committed, but promised disk from it.

Other values from hypervisor show: free_disk_gb = system free space local_gb = system total space local_gb_used = openstack total promised disk

virtual size of disks of all instance instance - used disk size of all instances
