I successfully installed Icehouse with RDO. Command is "sudo yum update -y http://rdo.fedorapeople.org/openstack-icehouse/rdo-release-icehouse.rpm%22 (http://rdo.fedorapeople.org/openstack...) . The rpm is released on Mar.4. But I check the openstack code and found it is old version. So my question is how often RDO will support the lastest Icehouse code? How can I update the openstack source code with RDO?

First you need to decide what you are trying to accomplish:

  • If you want the absolute newest code, you need to use git.
  • If you want stability, the latest stable packages are usually best.

Icehouse is not released yet, so RDO 'Icehouse' packages are for testing but are not always as up to date as git.
