Hi Guys,

we are actively working on open stack with different hyper-visors like KVM and VMware with different setup.

what we are thinking is to mix multiple Heterogeneous hypervisors into single controller and create two diff availability zones assign one zone for KVM, another for VMware.

can some help if it is possible or not.

Regards, Prabhakar

Yes. It's possible to have different hypervisors on single controller. The key is to setup drivers for the same. Vcenter hyperv drivers needs to be integrated with controller where the controller nova configs should be edited and on the backend like venter and hyperv u need to configure it for openstack

Yes, it is very much possible. you can have your KVM host as one compute node and vcenter into another compute node. both can be attached to same controller node.
