Hi,

I am trying to write a custom cinder-driver, but the volume status command fails with following error

('', 'usage: sudo [-D level] -h | -K | -k | -V\nusage: sudo -v [-AknS] [-D level] [-g groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user\n            name|#uid]\nusage: sudo -l[l] [-AknS] [-D level] [-g groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-U user\n            name] [-u user name|#uid] [-g groupname|#gid] [command]\nusage: sudo [-AbEHknPS] [-r role] [-t type] [-C fd] [-D level] [-g\n            groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user name|#uid] [-g groupname|#gid]\n            [VAR=value] [-i|-s] [<command>]\nusage: sudo -e [-AknS] [-r role] [-t type] [-C fd] [-D level] [-g\n            groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user name|#uid] file ...\n')

usage: sudo [-D level] -h | -K | -k | -V
usage: sudo -v [-AknS] [-D level] [-g groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user
            name|#uid]
usage: sudo -l[l] [-AknS] [-D level] [-g groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-U user
            name] [-u user name|#uid] [-g groupname|#gid] [command]
usage: sudo [-AbEHknPS] [-r role] [-t type] [-C fd] [-D level] [-g
            groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user name|#uid] [-g groupname|#gid]
            [VAR=value] [-i|-s] [<command>]
usage: sudo -e [-AknS] [-r role] [-t type] [-C fd] [-D level] [-g
            groupname|#gid] [-p prompt] [-u user name|#uid] file ...

but when I try to execute the command with

sudo cinder-rootwrap /etc/cinder/rootwrap.conf it runs properly. I think its some configuration issue, anybody encountered the same?

Found the cause of error. The Process execution error occurs since the command library I am using does not allow piped commands in front of it, which I was doing to do the parsing in the shell itself. Now I am getting the complete output & parsing it in my python code. Resolved.
