Hi all

I have installed swift 1.6.1 on ubuntu 12.04 LTS with swauth asa a authentication mechanism on single machine followed SAIO giude for installation

Whnever i upload data to swift it gets repliocated 3 times i.e default Is there any way to stop replication or make it just 1 time instead of 3 times.

What changes i have to make in my setup configuration files.

Regards, Ankit

You can build a new ring with fewer replicas. When you build your swift ring, something like this:

swift-ring-builder object.builder create 18 [replica count] 1

Just set that replica count to 1 or however many replicas you want swift to use.
