Setup OpenStack according to I am having great difficulty creating cinder volumes.

When I run "cinder -- debug list" I get the following:

root@openstack:~# cinder --debug list
REQ: curl -i -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json" -H "User-Agent: python-cinderclient" -d '{"auth": {"tenantName": "admin", "passwordCredentials": {"username": "admin", "password": "admin_pass"}}}'

I have seen this same error reported other times. Can you please check if there are already answers that work for you? If not, provide more details that make your problem different.

I just discovered the issue was with the environment variables I was using.

I followed this but didn't have the correct URL.

Okay, figured it out. Didn't have port 5000 specified for the OS_AUTH_URL variable. Set it to and now it's working great! Thanks.
