Hi All! I have some problems with noVNC Proxy. Can't connect to VM, error "Failed to connect to server (code: 1006)" This is my configuration :

From nova.conf in controller nodes

Vnc configuration

novnc_enabled=true novncproxy_base_url=https://cm.DOMAIN.com:6080/vnc_auto.html novncproxy_port=6081 vncserver_proxyclient_address=172.16.20.1 vncserver_listen=172.16.20.1

From nova.conf in compute nodes

Vnc configuration

novnc_enabled=true novncproxy_base_url=https://cm.DOMAIN.com:6080/vnc_auto.html novncproxy_port=6081 vncserver_proxyclient_address=172.16.20.1 vncserver_listen=172.16.20.1

You can find some logs here :

I'm using Openstack 2013.1.2 and Canonical Cloud Archive. The OS is Ubuntu 12.04.2 I have already verified all the configuration, i don't find any misconfiguration. Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Hi Marco,

I guest the reason is the wrong config in compute nodes. As you saied your compute nodes ips are like 172.16.20.21, 22, etc.

you can try below modification in your compute nodes:

vncserver_proxyclient_address=<compute-node-ip>

vncserver_listen=<compute-node-ip>

the <compute-node-ip> should be set to the right IP of your compute node.

Good luck! -gtt

Hi Marco,

What is the IP of your controller node and compute nodes? From the config file, they looks like the all in a host?
