Hi Everybody,

Could you please let me know what object type does Swift use to save data to its storage?

Swift couldn't save whole the +5GB file, so it have to separate to small chunks before saving to storage.

Does Swift use Chunks as an object type for saving data on its storage?

Hi Chau

Swift supports large objects in the way described on http://swift.openstack.org/overview_large_objects.html (http://swift.openstack.org/overview_l...)

You can also use the CLI "swift" tool to upload a large file in segments.
