Nova installation issue

asked 2011-11-23 23:47:14 -0500

I followed your instuctions to a T for the CentOS install:

http://wiki.openstack.org/NovaInstall/CentOSNotes?action=recall&rev=31 (http://wiki.openstack.org/NovaInstall...)

So after downloading Nova, I get this:

Processing dependencies for nova==2012.1 Finished processing dependencies for nova==2012.1 [root@iccloud nova]# cp /opt/nova/etc/nova-api.conf /etc/nova cp: cannot stat `/opt/nova/etc/nova-api.conf': No such file or directory

Please advise. Thank you.

this must be a very old set of instructions. The file is actually api-paste.ini, so you can do: cp /opt/nova/etc/nova/api-paste.ini /etc/nova
