  1. I checked install savanna in fuel and have "Savanna" tab in my UI Horizon. Is this installation of savanna enough or should I download any other for proper working of savanna ?

  2. Is there anything like "Savanna dashboard" which acts like the "Savanna-only" UI that I can install?

  1. Next step is to upload plugin-specific (HDP or Vanilla Hadoop) images to Glance and register them in Savanna Image Registry: https://savanna.readthedocs.org/en/0.2.2/userdoc/plugins.html (https://savanna.readthedocs.org/en/0....)

Then you'll be ready to create cluster templates and cluster. This screencast might be helpful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrlHM0-q5zI (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrlHM0...)

  1. Savanna dashboard is a plugin for OpenStack Horizon. There is no separate UI for Savanna. If you really need one, you can build it using http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/python-savannaclient/ (http://git.openstack.org/cgit/opensta...)

Re 2 - we aim to make the horizon plugin usable by multiple users, not just admins. If there's something you think it visible that shouldn't be, please let us know.

Thank you Rusalan and Mtthew :)

My one more question is if I need to see the savanna logs for errors or warnings about instances then I should be able to do it only from command prompt not UI Horizon ?

At this point Horizon dashboard is not good at displaying errors to the user. In most cases you'll have to browse logs in your command line.
