Hi,

i have tried to build a open stack folsom installation in multi node architecture with follow components:

  1. One controller node with one nic
  2. One compute node with one nic
  3. One network node (with quantum) and one nic

I have follow this tutorial

My "public" network is 10.170.0.0/24 and i have created a private network for vms 192.168.0.0/24 with a default router.

But in this configuration nothing same work!!! :)

So, my question It's possibile create a quantum network with single nic card?

Thanks.

Salvo.

I don't know whether this works on Folsom, but if you use the OVS plugin with GRE tunnels, then you would not need a separate physical network for the VM traffic.
