The log attached doesn't look right. The logs is referring to /horizon/admin/instances/, the Volumes page would have a URL of /horizon/admin/volumes.

The configuration looks right.

Just to confirm, you can access the dashboard and it only fails when you go to Volumes panel?

Are you referring to the instruction in this link? http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-compute/install/apt/content/installing-openstack-dashboard.html (http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/opens...)

Do you have this file: /etc/apache2/conf.d/openstack-dashboard.conf ?

There should be a line in the configuration pointing to the location of the static folders..

Entry in the file: Alias /static /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack_dashboard/static/

I didn't configure the location of static files in the host config.

httpd.conf is empty

ports.conf

If you just change the port or add more ports here, you will likely also

have to change the VirtualHost statement in

/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default

This is also true if you have upgraded from before 2.2.9-3 (i.e. from

Debian etch). See /usr/share/doc/apache2.2-common/NEWS.Debian.gz and

README.Debian.gz

NameVirtualHost *:80 Listen 80

<ifmodule mod_ssl.c=""> # If you add NameVirtualHost *:443 here, you will also have to change # the VirtualHost statement in /etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl # to <virtualhost *:443=""> # Server Name Indication for SSL named virtual hosts is currently not # supported by MSIE on Windows XP. Listen 443 </ifmodule>

<ifmodule mod_gnutls.c=""> Listen 443 </ifmodule>

Looks like apache is looking for the files in the wrong directory.

Did you configure the location of static files (where the generated compress files is located ) in your apache host configuration?

Can you provide your host configuration in apache?
