I'm using Folsom Testing Packages on Ubuntu 12.04 [1], Quantum V2 with OVS Plugin & Agent running.

To create a network, I've followed step by step the doc [2]

1) When I try to launch an instance from dashboard, I have an issue [3]

2) Another issue when I use nova CLI :

nova boot --image b2112707-533e-48a4-b7a1-df2685163156 --flavor 1 --nic net-id=283fceb0-a47b-4cd6-997b-c06174228832 test

Its fails with "libvirtError: Cannot get interface MTU" error.

nova.conf : http://paste.openstack.org/show/XN1bzB7tP7i5jjNs1g5Z/ (http://paste.openstack.org/show/XN1bz...) nova-compute.log : http://paste.openstack.org/show/3eiDIRWN1yGD4EoDwAZV/ (http://paste.openstack.org/show/3eiDI...) libvirtd.log : http://paste.openstack.org/show/5o3k09ph7Gkocci3QNti/ (http://paste.openstack.org/show/5o3k0...) qemu.conf : http://paste.openstack.org/show/rAjKIqR2p4sJPjLGDYpr/ (http://paste.openstack.org/show/rAjKI...)

I've tested with Ubuntu 12.04 UEC Image & Cirros : same error.

Any idea ?

I found by myself the second error :

Add in nova-compute.conf :

libvirt_ovs_bridge=br-int libvirt_vif_type=ethernet libvirt_vif_driver=nova.virt.libvirt.vif.LibvirtOpenVswitchDriver

And read http://openvswitch.org/openstack/documentation/ (http://openvswitch.org/openstack/docu...)

For the first issue, I'm still stuck.
