I installed the openstack using the devstack script, it went well. I could login the openstack dashboard after installation.

BUT I restarted my machine, then I couldn't login the openstack dashboard. WHY?

I had to reinstall the stack.sh script in order to login again.

After each reboot , run the stack rejoin script as root from /ope/stack/devstack ie the devstack directory of the stack user. It will re-eanble the previous screen session where all services were running. At this point you can access the dashboard again.

Devstack is a developer version so you have to run stack.sh after every reboot. I think there is no option available in devstack main trunk to avoid running stack.sh after every reboot. There is a blue print proposed in https://blueprints.launchpad.net/devstack/+spec/upstart (https://blueprints.launchpad.net/devs...) to do this.

And If you are interested you can try https://github.com/maoy/devstack/tree/upstart (https://github.com/maoy/devstack/tree...) to meet your purpose.
