can I run openstack on eclipse? [closed]

Hi ,

I am trying to write an openstack REST API client. I need to run openstack in windows . Is there anyway I can set up a bareminimum simulator kind of set up in windows 7 professional? is there anyway to run openstack in eclipse?

@rakrup that's a valuable resource, thanks for referencing to it. Have you suggested your friend to publish that guide on the OpenStack wiki or push it to the documentation team for consideration?

@rakrup@smaffulli , I think the above link is basically for Debugging the openstack using eclipse. I am currently working on to run the openstack using eclipse. I will share the link once I will finish it.

If you need a REST API client, you might want to seriously consider contributing to one of the already established OpenStack SDKS.

As for a bare minimum emulator on Windows 7, your best bet is running devstack (see in an Ubuntu 12.04 VM in VirtualBox.
