Hi guys... I'm trying to setup live migration from this guide but for creating my openstack cloud I followed this guide where I haven't installed nova-network not even nova-objectstore... but in the guide for configuring live migration there are a step that says:

HostA is the "Cloud Controller", and should be running: nova-api, nova-scheduler, nova-network, nova-volume, nova-objectstore, nova-scheduler.

So.. can I do the configuration without this two nova services or I need it? Also in the guide there's no mention about the network-node ... what do I have to do different ?

Try it and see :) It will probably work. Quantum should be able to function in place of nova-network, and nova-objectstore is not required for live migrations.

The most important aspect of "HostA" in the Live Migration setup document is the NFS server that it runs, rather than the other services mentioned.
