I am interested in retrieving volume usage meters (for cinder volumes). I came across this: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/11141/

I am not clear how to consume this from an integration point of view. This talks about publishing a periodic notification about the volume usage - I am not clear how to subscribe to this notification from a 3rd party integration point of view. Also, does Ceilometer provide these meters (I don't see it)? Any other way to retrieve this info?
