The IP of the target iscsi server

asked 2013-02-21 03:01:04 -0500

I am using Essex ubuntu package. Once I create a volume, it will insert a record in the database nova.block_divice_mapping.connection_info with "{"driver_volume_type": "iscsi", "data": {"device_path": "/dev/disk/by-path/ip-10.2.15.3:3260-iscsi-iqn.2010-10.org.openstack:volume-0000000a-lun-1", "target_discovered": false, "target_iqn": "iqn.2010-10.org.openstack:volume-0000000a", "target_portal": "192.168.3.1:3260", "volume_id": 10, "target_lun": 1}}"

The IP 10.2.15.3 is the public_ip of my openstack. How can I change the ip to the internalurl ip of my server 192.168.3.1? whether shoud I change the KeyStone endpoint? What's the different between the public_url, internal_url and admin_url? Thanks!

I add iscsi_ip_address=$IP_I_Want in the nova.conf, the issue sloved.
