stuck openstack instance
my ubuntu 16.04 openstack instance stuck on started journal service also have same problem with centos stuck on probing Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok

From what images did you launch these instances?
Are they configured in any way?
Have you tried other images?
Can you ping them?
Can you generate a console log?
it fixed when i reboot my network and compute node befor reboot my port state for new instance is in DOWN state
