Is there a way to live migrate instances between Intel and AMD nodes?

I know few parameters in nova.conf helps to migrate between old and new hardware and it worked for me before within intel hardware.

In principle yes, if the instances don't rely on specific CPU features. Check config parameters cpu_mode and cpu_models.

Thanks for the reply, Exactly I did the same between intel Machines, it works but for AMD it seems to be a huge performance problem during live migration. Looking for alternatives, if we do a normal migration by shutting down a VM, will this parameters still needed?,cold migration case

I don't think that these parameters are related to migration. They just determine the kind of vCPU on a compute node. In other words, the parameters are as relevant for live migration as for cold migration.
