Hi There,

I have some problems with introspecting my compute nodes by PXE. The introspection image fails to boot on some of my servers.

After the message "Unpacking initramfs" it throws some kernel errors and reboots after 30 seconds.

Hardware: - Dell PowerEdge R630 - 2x E5-2680 - 512GB RAM - HBA330 - Mellanox ConnectX-3 DP 40GB QSFP+

I have 3 of those boxes that are 100% identical and on all three i have these problems.

On other hardware (Dell R620), the same introspection image boots withoud any issues and completes succesfully.

The introspection image is based on CentOS 8.

How can i debug this? I tried to "scroll up" the screen on my physical server to determine the whole error message, but that is not possible at all.

Problem solved, kernel panic was caused due to unsupported network cards. Swapped them with other models was the solution.
