Hi all,

Was having a lot of issues creating new volume, instances, images ..etc which led me to check one of our storage controller and notice that it shows that it is a degraded state. I'm having issue in pin pointing which drive is the root of the issue.

State: degraded
 Jobs: 0 queued
 Failed: 1 units

Ran smartctl -a on /dev/sda, sdb, and sdc and did not see any issue as it shows them passing the smart test

SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED

Short and Extended offline test both shows completed without errors.

What kind of storage controller is that? What kind of devices are sd[abc]? Where does the above output come from?

I would check appropriate log files, in particular kernel messages.
