My system is lack of nodes (4 nodes ).

Then I going to install KVM on 3 nodes, create 3 controller VM, 1 kolla VM, 3 compute VM ( use vhba )

and then deploy kolla openstack on 3 Controller VMs, 2 Compute VMs, 1 compute physicals with cinder hba

Is it ok to run in production? Are there any reports about perfromance for this architect?

Hello, For information we used the following configuration for Production environnement :

  • 3 CTRL VMs for API/Keystone/Horizon
  • 3 MON VMs for ELK/Kibana/Monitoring
  • 3 BDD/RabbitMq VMs
  • 2 physicals servers for Network Node
  • 3 or more compute node physical Server (for this never use VM in a production environnement)
