I have Openstack queens setup. I have deployed magnum on it. But when I try to create k8 cluster using it, it stuck in kubemaster, as on kubemaster docker-storage-setup failing. Also kube-apiserver failing to start.

[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]# docker-storage-setup
New size given (1280 extents) not larger than existing size (4863 extents)
ERROR: There is not enough free space in volume group atomicos to create data volume of size MIN_DATA_SIZE=2G.
[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]#
[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]# cat /etc/sysconfig/docker-storage-setup
[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]#

I guess its due to 0 free PE

[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]# vgdisplay| grep Size
  VG Size 19.00 GiB
  PE Size 4.00 MiB
  Alloc PE / Size 4863 / 19.00 GiB
  Free PE / Size 0 / 0
[root@my-kubernetes-cluster4-i7fsboqxexcd-master-0 ~]#

Please suggest solution. Thanks.

I used "docker-storage-driver = overlay", and that resolves the issue, but now server is waiting for kubernetes-api which is failing.

Waiting for Kubernetes API... + curl --silent + sleep 5

kube-apiserver service was failing as, kube user do not have permission to create certificate in /var/run/kubernetes/

[root@my-k8-cluster1-k4czdt6vc6vi-master-0 kube-apiserver.0]# /usr/bin/runc --systemd-cgroup run 'kube-apiserver'
I0526 13:49:16.515448 1 server.go:121] Version: v1.9.3
error creating self-signed certificates: open /var/run/kubernetes/apiserver.crt: permission denied

chaning directory permission resolved the issue.

even after this wc-notify.service service failing, which is responsible for sending signal back to heat stack.
