Hi all, I have created a centos7 instance on OpenStack rocky. I can able to see the IP address(Private and Public) from the dashboard but I can't able to see the IP address in the centos7 console. I have created a centos7 instance with the self-service network. I have a controller node and a compute node which are running on two different RHEL7 machines. I can't able to ping the assigned address (10.10.10.23) and floating address (192.168.174.142).

please help me on this, Thanks

There are plenty of questions with the exact same problem on this site, have you searched them? Probably your image doesn't have dhcp enabled so it doesn't get an address from neutron. You can either change the address within your instance or change the base image and re-upload it to glance.

If you can see both public and private IP associated to the instance from Horizon, IP get assigned to the instance at boot time. Do you get this issue after reboot or migration? Please check your server console log.
