Hi

I am new to Openstack and want to test my VNF onboarding. I need to test over KVM based hypervisor (What are the available hypervisor types)

What are the available and the easiest options to test onboarding my VNF into the Openstack, is there a public available hypervisor over which I can subscribe and test my image onboarding there?

And What is the base platform for the openstack public available servers?

Thanks

Hi

So if my server running Ubuntu or Redhat, then I can use the KVM hpervisor to onboard my VNF over it, and then download the Openstack service?

How I can download the openstack, and what is its role/functions? Can I use it free without subscriptions? And is it only to manage the VM instances?

Thanks in Advance

Actually I dont know how to move on. The server is Redhat and need to use KVM as a hypervisor to onboard the VNF which is linux based image. The requirements is to use openstack too. but I dont know how to use it, what is its role, how I can get it

If you can share some basic details about openstac

//KVM based hypervisor (What are the available hypervisor types)// You have n number hyper-visor Ironic, KVM, LXC, QEMU, VMware ESX/ESXi, Xen (using libvirt) , zVM, Hyper-V, PowerVM, , Virtuozzo, UML, XenServer

For testing you can use and public OS centos or RHEL may be AWS or Azure and install open-stack service.
