hello I am junior and I explain I created an instance on openstack (ubuntu @ test1) and I would like to know how to get to the root to be able to change parameters like cinder for example

To change Cinder parameters, you modify the files in /etc/cinder on the servers where Cinder is implemented. Thus, you need to have access to those servers.

With Ubuntu, you normally log on as a non-privileged user, then perform administrative tasks using the sudo command.

In order to set up and operate OpenStack, you need more than beginner's skills in Linux. Your Linux skill level seems to be below beginner. I strongly encourage you first learn Linux, then OpenStack.

Do “sudo -i “ if you login to system with normal user Which user currently you login on Ubuntu ? Or create with instance with key-pair , use same key pair to login password less
