Ubuntu Icehouse setup is done sucessfully. But horizon fails to get loaded in http://ip/horizon . I am getting an internal error 500. Apache log shows the following:

[crit] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] configuration error: couldn't perform authentication. AuthType not set!: /horizon
[error] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] File does not exist: /var/www/favicon.ico

Another installation a week ago had working horizon with Icehouse itself. I never come across this error with Horizon. Is there any change made to Django or WSGI module recently?

did you install from source or package? edit the question to add more details. It looks like it has to do with configuration options missing, not changes in the code (but anything can be unless you provide more details)

The apache configuration was made backwards incompatible in 1:2014.1~b2-0ubuntu2; I've just reverted that change and uploaded to trusty dev; the update will work through to the Icehouse cloud archive for 12.04 in the next few hours.
